Lifestyle Evangelism – “Be the Salt and Light of the World”   

We had our E-launch, ”Your Lifestyle Matters-Show it, Share it!“, in February when we were reminded that we ought to be the salt & light of the world. It is unimaginable for a world to be without salt and light as they are essential to daily living. Three area of focus for each one of us to work on includes (1) our attitude (2)our speech (3) our actions. Essentially, what we hope to see at the end of this year is that each of us having a heart of thanksgiving and gratitude, a mouth that praises and edifies and a heart of overflowing love to do extraordinary deeds. Let us shine for God through our lifestyle that when others see us, they praise our Father in heaven. Let us ask God to let His love compel us to share with our friends about the Great Almighty God that we have!

 

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:13-16)
